We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant in Louisville, Kentucky. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, including month-end processes, general ledger management, and reconciliation tasks. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the organization’s accounting functions with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities:• Oversee the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial documentation.• Reconcile accounts and review discrepancies to maintain data integrity.• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.• Handle accounts payable processes, including reviewing invoices and issuing payments.• Manage accounts receivable functions, including tracking payments and resolving outstanding balances.• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and compliance.• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management review.• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related roles. • Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger activities. • Strong understanding of journal entries and financial reconciliation. • Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies. • Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
