We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to play a vital role in financial management and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven ability to manage complex financial tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Prepare and manage monthly financial closings, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. • Maintain and update the general ledger, verifying entries and resolving discrepancies. • Create and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial data. • Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy. • Conduct bank reconciliations to align financial records with bank statements. • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures. • Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation for audits. • Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting workflows. • Support additional accounting tasks as required.

• Extensive experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Proficiency in managing and maintaining general ledger accounts. • Strong skills in preparing and analyzing journal entries. • Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. • Expertise in conducting detailed bank reconciliations. • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with teams.
