<p>Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced VMware / Storage Engineer with deep expertise in vSAN and enterprise storage technologies. This hands-on SME will design, implement, automate, and support medium to large enterprise infrastructure environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for mission-critical systems. This role is <strong>HYBRID </strong>in Los Angeles, CA (Century City)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Architect, deploy, administer, and manage vSAN-based storage solutions for medium to large enterprise environments.</li><li>Design, implement, and automate enterprise storage and virtualization infrastructure, delivering solutions that meet business objectives and security standards.</li><li>Lead client-facing project delivery, effectively articulating technical issues to stakeholders and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VMware technologies (including vSphere, vSAN, Cohesity, Veeam, and vRealize) into cohesive solutions that enhance overall IT operations.</li><li>Work with server provisioning workflows and automation platforms, leveraging scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Python to streamline operations and improve efficiency.</li><li>Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for VMware and storage platforms, ensuring high availability and rapid issue resolution.</li><li>Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to optimize infrastructure provisioning and management.</li><li>Support and manage Active Directory Domains & Trusts to facilitate secure access and identity management across the enterprise.</li><li>Develop and maintain technical documentation, project plans, and post-implementation support materials.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Experience & Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience with VMware products—vSphere, vSAN, and related platforms.</li><li>Proven experience designing and managing vSAN infrastructure in enterprise settings.</li><li>5+ years of direct experience with Cohesity and Veeam backup and recovery platforms.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in server provisioning, automation, and scripting (PowerShell/Python highly preferred).</li><li>Experience with virtual automation platforms (such as vRealize) and understanding of virtualization technology.</li><li>Solid experience supporting Enterprise Active Directory solutions, including Domains & Trusts.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server and Linux operating systems.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly to clients and nontechnical stakeholders.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li><li>Industry certifications in VMware, Cohesity, or Veeam preferred.</li></ul>
