Sr. Data Engineer - Adobe AEP

As a Sr. Data Engineer specializing in Databricks and Adobe architecture, you will collaborate across business domains (CRM, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Finance, etc.) and IT teams to architect, implement, and optimize data solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and integrations leveraging Databricks, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and related Azure cloud technologies.</p><p><br></p><p><strong><em>Location </em></strong>= Hybrid Role that includes 3 days onsite/week in the San Fernando Valley</p><p><strong><em>Type </em></strong>= Full Time Permanent Employment</p><p><br></p>
<p><strong><em><u>Core Duties & Responsibilities</u></em></strong></p><p><em><u>Data Strategy & Architecture</u></em></p><p> -- Architect and implement robust data pipelines supporting Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Databricks, and other business-critical applications.</p><p> -- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals, emphasizing Adobe and Databricks integration.</p><p> -- Design and manage data integration processes using Databricks, Adobe Experience Platform, ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).</p><p> -- Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across all Adobe and Databricks data flows.</p><p><em><u>Data Pipeline Management</u></em></p><p> -- Build scalable, high-performance data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage, with a focus on Databricks and Adobe Experience Platform.</p><p> -- Optimize workflows to improve performance and reduce latency in Databricks and Adobe environments.</p><p> -- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Databricks and Adobe data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow.</p><p> -- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Databricks and Adobe data architectures, flows, and integration processes.</p><p><em><u>Collaboration & Communication</u></em></p><p> -- Work closely with IT, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver Databricks and Adobe-based solutions.</p><p> -- Foster a collaborative environment and provide training/support on Databricks and Adobe pipeline processes and best practices.</p><p><em><u>Requirements & Qualifications</u></em></p><p> -- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, mathematics, information technology or a related field.</p><p> -- 5–7 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or a related role.</p><p> -- Proven expertise in Databricks architecture, implementation, and optimization.</p><p> -- Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) architecture and integrations.</p><p> -- Strong knowledge of data pipeline design, implementation, and optimization using Databricks, Adobe, ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory.</p><p> -- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.</p><p> -- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with keen attention to detail.</p><p> -- Experience with performance monitoring and alerting in Databricks and Adobe environments.</p><p> -- Passion for data and teamwork.</p><p> -- Creative thinker with a service mindset, ready to shape a critical role in driving a data-first culture and accelerating value-driven data creation.</p><p> -- Familiarity with CRM Dynamics’ Dataverse, MS Synapse link integrations, and data integrations is a plus.</p>
