We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Long Island City, New York. In this role, you will play a vital part in overseeing shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy while adhering to industry standards. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in logistics and a strong commitment to maintaining high levels of organization and security.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.<br>• Maintain detailed records of inventory and shipments, ensuring all documentation is up to date.<br>• Collaborate with team members and external partners to streamline logistics processes.<br>• Monitor shipments for compliance with safety and security standards.<br>• Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipping and receiving.<br>• Conduct regular checks to verify inventory levels and quality of goods.<br>• Provide support in managing logistics workflows to enhance efficiency.<br>• Communicate effectively with vendors and clients to ensure smooth operations.<br>• Implement and uphold industry best practices within all logistics activities.<br>• Assist in handling shipping functions to meet organizational goals.
