Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in New York, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks, financial tracking, and HR processes. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with a strong background in office support and bookkeeping who are eager to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Perform accurate data entry and maintain records to ensure organized and accessible information.</p><p>• Scan and digitize documents, keeping files updated and secure.</p><p>• Support financial operations by tracking invoices, deposits, and accounts receivable.</p><p>• Assist in payroll processing for employees and contractors, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.</p><p>• Handle administrative tasks related to benefits and HR processes.</p><p>• Manage office supplies and inventory to ensure availability of required resources.</p><p>• Provide back-office support for organizational platforms and systems.</p><p>• Coordinate event logistics and provide administrative assistance during company functions.</p><p>• Serve as a Google Workspace administrator, ensuring smooth platform operations.</p><p>• Collaborate with various teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration, operations, or bookkeeping.<br>• Proficiency in scanning, organizing files, and maintaining accurate documentation.<br>• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with platforms such as Gusto, Aplos, Salesforce, or similar systems.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and reliability in handling sensitive information.<br>• Experience working in nonprofit organizations is a plus.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
