We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team on a contract basis in Linwood, Pennsylvania. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and the ability to manage high-volume data entry efficiently. Responsibilities:• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.• Assign appropriate account codes to invoices and other financial documents.• Conduct thorough reviews of invoices for proper coding and compliance with company standards.• Facilitate Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and oversee check runs.• Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships.• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable activities.• Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.• Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance standards within the accounts payable function.• Support team members with additional accounting tasks as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts payable or accounting role. • Proficiency in coding invoices and assigning account codes accurately. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes and check runs. • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume data entry. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
