Payroll Clerk
We are looking for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join our team in Lewisville, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees within our non-profit organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll expertise who thrives in a detail-oriented environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle full-cycle payroll processing for employees ranging from 101 to 500 in the organization.<br>• Verify employee timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll calculations.<br>• Manage payroll garnishments in compliance with legal regulations and organizational policies.<br>• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries and provide support.<br>• Ensure timely submission of payroll taxes and adherence to all federal and state requirements.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and secure employee data throughout the payroll process.<br>• Update and maintain payroll records, including changes in employee status or compensation.<br>• Assist with audits and reporting related to payroll to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Identify opportunities for improving payroll processes and implement solutions for efficiency.
<p>• Proven experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll.</p><p>• Familiarity with handling payroll for organizations with 101-3000 employees.</p><p>• Expertise in managing payroll garnishments and ensuring compliance with regulations.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately.</p><p>• Proficiency with payroll software and systems.</p><p>• Knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and tax regulations.</p><p>• Excellent communication skills for interacting with employees and team members.</p><p>• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.</p>
