We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a strong background in corporate tax and general ledger management. Responsibilities:• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.• Manage month-end close processes, including preparing financial statements and reports.• Provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.• Create and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.• Monitor general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial procedures and reporting.• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and practices.• Analyze financial data to support business decisions and strategies.
