Sr. Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role involves preparing thorough financial analyses and reports tailored for legal matters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with high standards in accounting. The ideal candidate will excel in interpreting complex financial data and presenting it clearly for legal review.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze financial records, statements, and supporting documentation to uncover relevant insights.<br>• Prepare comprehensive and well-structured financial reports for legal purposes.<br>• Apply meticulous accounting standards to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial analyses.<br>• Identify key trends, discrepancies, and financial issues pertinent to legal cases.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys to address questions, make revisions, or clarify report details.<br>• Ensure all financial write-ups are precise, complete, and suitable for legal review.<br>• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive financial data.<br>• Utilize advanced accounting tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, to streamline reporting processes.<br>• Conduct reconciliations of accounts and bank statements to verify financial accuracy.
• Active CPA license is mandatory.<br>• Extensive experience in senior-level accounting, preferably in public accounting.<br>• Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of audited statements.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication abilities.<br>• Familiarity with legal, litigation, or advisory financial matters is advantageous.<br>• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
