Customer Service Representative
<p><strong>Customer Service Representative (Full-Time contract to hire)</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative responsible for providing professional, timely, consistent, and efficient support to clients, customers, and internal stakeholders. This role supports mission‑driven work that helps create safer environments for individuals who work around specialized equipment and technology.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities & Core Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Manage customer issues from start to finish by coordinating with internal departments and ensuring complete resolution.</li><li>Respond promptly and accurately to all incoming phone and email inquiries, including questions related to billing, credits, and account changes.</li><li>Enter and update customer information, orders, adjustments, and cancellations in internal databases.</li><li>Navigate multiple internal systems throughout the day to deliver high‑quality customer service.</li><li>Provide timely feedback to management regarding customer concerns or service failures.</li><li>Participate in special projects as assigned.</li><li>Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs.</li></ul>
<p>Answering Inbound Calls, Call Center Customer Service, Customer Service, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Inbound Outbound Calls, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Order Entry, Schedule Appointments<strong>Education, Experience & Knowledge</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in a science or science‑related field preferred.</li><li>3–5 years of experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.</li><li>Experience in a manufacturing customer service setting (order management, shipping, delivery, account setup, troubleshooting).</li><li>Familiarity with Lean Process Improvement principles is a plus.</li><li>Experience with ERP order management systems is preferred.</li><li>Some college coursework is required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.</li><li>Strong follow‑up and follow‑through abilities.</li><li>Eagerness to learn and apply new skills.</li><li>Excellent reading comprehension.</li><li>Problem‑solving and active listening skills.</li><li>Strong data entry abilities with high accuracy.</li><li>Solid mathematical skills and comfort interpreting invoices.</li><li>Positive, customer‑focused mindset.</li><li>Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and basic computer hardware.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Requirements & Work Environment</strong></p><ul><li>Primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting.</li><li>Occasional light physical activity (lifting/moving up to 25 lbs).</li><li>Standing, bending, and reaching may be required.</li></ul><p><br></p>
