Job Title: Litigation Attorney (No Billable Hour Requirement) Location: Houston, Texas (remote) Reports To: Litigation Department LeadAbout the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic and client-focused legal team. This is a litigation-centric position with no mandatory billable hour requirements, allowing you to prioritize quality advocacy, case outcomes, and client service over hours tracking. While experience in personal injury law is preferred, we welcome attorneys with strong litigation backgrounds from other practice areas who are eager to grow in a plaintiff-oriented environment focused on achieving outstanding results for clients. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage and develop a litigation docket from initial client intake through trial and post-trial work.</li><li>Conduct comprehensive legal research, draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other court submissions.</li><li>Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.</li><li>Build case strategies, prepare and examine witnesses, coordinate with expert witnesses, and prepare trial exhibits.</li><li>Handle all aspects of litigation, including client communication, investigation, deposition preparation, negotiation with opposing counsel and insurance representatives, and courtroom advocacy.</li><li>Maintain clear, timely communication with clients and keep them apprised of case status, strategy and expectations.</li><li>Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to advance case progress.</li><li>Uphold best practices in organizing case files, calendaring deadlines, and meeting legal compliance and ethical standards.</li></ul>

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized and accredited law school. • Active admission to the state bar and in good standing. • At least 2 years of litigation experience; personal injury litigation experience is a plus. • Strong skills in legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical reasoning. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment. • Proven negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable resolutions for clients. • Dedication to providing empathetic, thorough, and client-centered representation. • Proficiency in handling civil litigation tasks, including drafting motions, conducting discovery, and preparing summary judgments.
