Attorney/Lawyer
We are looking for an experienced Attorney with expertise in civil litigation to join our team in Houston, Texas. The selected candidate will handle a diverse range of real estate and business disputes, guiding clients through all stages of the litigation process. This role requires a results-driven individual who excels in courtroom advocacy, legal research, and client management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage a variety of civil litigation cases, including real estate disputes, business conflicts, construction-related disagreements, and claims involving negligence.<br>• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and oversee discovery processes.<br>• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, settlement negotiations, hearings, and trials.<br>• Prepare and evaluate real estate documents, advising clients on matters such as easements, title issues, and restrictive covenants.<br>• Provide counsel on landlord-tenant disputes and Texas Property Code issues.<br>• Perform detailed title research and analyze property records to address ownership, liens, boundary disputes, and related concerns.<br>• Collaborate with colleagues to handle complex cases involving real estate and business transactions.<br>• Maintain consistent communication with clients, ensuring responsiveness and attention to detail throughout the litigation process.<br>• Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts and mentor entry-level staff as required.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.<br>• Active license and good standing with the State Bar of Texas.<br>• At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong focus on real estate or business-related cases.<br>• Proven ability to handle motion practice and courtroom proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.<br>• Exceptional skills in legal writing, research, and analysis.<br>• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases independently while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage client relationships.<br>• Detail oriented, reliable, and dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
