<p>A leading law firm seeks a <strong>Staff Attorney</strong> with <strong>3–5 years of litigation experience</strong> to join its Commercial Litigation team. This role focuses on <strong>first-party insurance and bad faith litigation</strong>. Prior experience in these areas is required, and experience representing insurance carriers is strongly preferred.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Handle litigation matters involving first-party insurance and bad faith claims.</li><li>Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.</li><li>Manage case development and oversee litigation strategy from inception to resolution.</li><li>Appear in local state and federal courts for hearings and proceedings.</li><li>Collaborate with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently.</li><li>Ensure timely and high-quality work product under tight deadlines.</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>J.D. degree</strong> and <strong>admission to practice in Texas</strong> (required).</li><li><strong>3+ years of litigation experience</strong>, including first-party insurance/bad faith matters.</li><li>Strong <strong>writing and oral advocacy skills</strong>.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage cases and deadlines effectively.</li><li>Familiarity with local state and federal court procedures.</li><li>Self-motivated with consistent follow-through and reliability.</li></ul><p><br></p>
