Receptionist
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. This Contract position requires someone who can manage front desk operations efficiently while maintaining a welcoming and detail-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail to support both reception and facilities-related tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Greet and announce visitors, ensuring proper sign-in and badge assignment using visitor management systems.<br>• Manage front desk operations by opening and closing the reception area and maintaining a clean and detail-oriented workspace.<br>• Coordinate facilities processes for new and departing employees, including desk assignments, badge issuance, and workspace organization.<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, delivery, postage management, and package scanning.<br>• Create shipping labels for FedEx and schedule pickups, delivering packages directly when required.<br>• Support facilities operations by restocking office, kitchen, and beverage supplies, as needed.<br>• Monitor maintenance ticket systems for internal and external requests, coordinating resolutions with property management and facilities staff.<br>• Assist in resolving conference room scheduling conflicts and maintaining organized procedures.<br>• Provide administrative support to departments and individuals, including assistance with special projects.<br>• Serve as Fire Warden to assist in emergency situations and uphold safety protocols.
• At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist or administrative role.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.<br>• Outstanding interpersonal skills with a detail-oriented and positive demeanor.<br>• Proficiency in handling phone calls, email correspondence, and mail distribution.<br>• Familiarity with ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory.<br>• Ability to use visitor management systems and coordinate conference room reservations.<br>• Punctual, organized, and proactive in addressing tasks and challenges.
