Accountant - Entry Level
We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their accounting skills in a focused and meticulous setting. The role involves handling various financial tasks and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.<br>• Reconcile general ledger accounts to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data.<br>• Handle accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking.<br>• Prepare and record accounting entries in compliance with established standards.<br>• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing processes.<br>• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.<br>• Maintain organized and accessible documentation for audits and reporting purposes.<br>• Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Experience with bank and account reconciliations.<br>• Ability to accurately prepare and post accounting entries.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.<br>• A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
