We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry Level Accountant to join our team in Mt. Olive, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position within the insurance industry, offering an excellent opportunity to refine your accounting skills while contributing to essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational abilities and proficiency in Excel to support billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts receivable tasks, including processing payments and reconciling discrepancies.• Conduct billing activities with accuracy and ensure timely invoicing.• Handle collections, reaching out to clients professionally to resolve outstanding balances.• Perform data entry with a high degree of precision to maintain financial records.• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as V-lookups and pivot tables to analyze and organize financial data.• Transfer data between systems efficiently, ensuring consistency and accuracy.• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to billing and collections.• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve workflow.• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies in all financial operations.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and collections. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on being detail oriented. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Experience with medical collections is a plus. • Capability to transfer data between systems while maintaining accuracy. • Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external clients.
