Responsibilities: • Prepare and file corporate tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. • Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting. • Record and maintain journal entries with precision and adherence to accounting standards. • Handle sales tax filings and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities. • Assist in month-end and year-end close processes to support accurate financial statements. • Conduct detailed reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles to ensure compliance. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. • Analyze financial transactions to provide insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance. • Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and filing procedures. • Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and journal entries. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies. • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
