We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in financial operations and reporting. The role involves overseeing essential accounting tasks and ensuring accuracy in financial records and reconciliations. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end closing processes, including preparing and reviewing financial statements. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. • Create and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. • Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment with financial records. • Conduct bank reconciliations to verify balances and resolve discrepancies. • Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage accounting tasks and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. • Prepare detailed reports summarizing financial data for management review. • Analyze financial records to identify trends or issues requiring attention. • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management. • Comprehensive knowledge of month-end closing procedures and financial reporting. • Proficiency in managing general ledger entries and journal entries. • Solid understanding of account and bank reconciliation processes. • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and presenting financial information.
