We are looking for a skilled Property Accountant to join our client's team in West Palm Beach, Florida. In this role, you will oversee financial operations and reporting for real estate properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with clients and team members to support effective financial management. Responsibilities:• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate tracking and timely recording.• Prepare and maintain comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and general ledgers.• Conduct monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets, providing detailed summaries.• Analyze financial statements to identify trends and provide insights to management.• Collaborate with clients and internal teams during regular meetings to address accounting needs and ensure smooth communication.• Assist in year-end tax filings, audit preparations, and compliance reviews.• Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clients, recommending improvements when necessary.• Ensure ethical handling of financial transactions and adherence to organizational standards.• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members, fostering effective collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution.• At least 2 years of experience in real estate accounting with preference in development and commercial accounting.• Strong understanding of public accounting standards and financial reporting practices.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.
