We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Edina, Minnesota. In this role, you will handle full-cycle payroll operations for multi-state employees, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all payroll processes. This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a strong background in payroll management, and familiarity with systems such as ADP Workforce Now or Paycom. Responsibilities: • Process and manage biweekly payroll for employees across multiple states, ensuring timely and accurate payments. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax filings and reporting. • Handle full-cycle payroll operations, from data entry to final reconciliation. • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure employee compensation aligns with organizational policies and budgets. • Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now and Paycom to manage payroll functions efficiently. • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries promptly. • Prepare detailed payroll reports and analyze data for accuracy and trends. • Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all payroll transactions. • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. • Support audits and reviews related to payroll processes as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing, including multi-state payroll. • Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations, including reconciliation and reporting. • Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Paycom, or similar platforms. • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. • Ability to manage payroll for organizations with 100-500 employees. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Effective communication skills to address payroll-related queries and collaborate with teams. • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.
