HR Generalist
<p>We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this role, you will support both their Eden Prairie and their Delano locations. This long-term contract position will focus on managing a range of human resources functions within a manufacturing environment. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a reactive work setting and excels at supporting employees and managers across multiple locations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee and manage all aspects of leave administration, including accommodations, workers' compensation, and interpreting medical documentation.</p><p>• Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate processing related to employee leaves and benefits.</p><p>• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees in Eden Prairie and Delano on HR-related matters.</p><p>• Conduct employee relations activities, including intake, coaching, and investigations for complex issues.</p><p>• Assist with open enrollment by addressing employee inquiries and providing relevant information.</p><p>• Support year-end salary increase processes and ensure smooth administration.</p><p>• Maintain compliance training systems and contribute to leadership development initiatives.</p><p>• Develop and refine employment policies, with a focus on benefits and compliance.</p><p>• Provide expertise in benefits administration and assist in implementing new paid leave policies.</p><p>• Respond to frequent employee questions and address foot traffic across office locations.</p>
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in human resources, preferably within a manufacturing environment.<br>• Strong knowledge of employee relations practices, including conflict resolution and investigations.<br>• Proficiency in HR administration, including leave management and benefits administration.<br>• Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UKG Pro.<br>• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement employment policies.<br>• Experience with onboarding processes and annual merit reviews.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a reactive and fast-paced environment.
