Payroll & Benefits Consultant
<p>We are working with a client who is seeking a parttime, interim Payroll & Benefits Consultant to join our team in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, 55102. This contract position is ideal for professionals skilled in payroll processing and benefits administration, particularly in union and non-union environments. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization by ensuring smooth payroll operations and effective benefits management. The work model is hybrid. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process bi-weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.</p><p>• Facilitate the enrollment of newly hired employees into the company’s benefits plans.</p><p>• Provide support during open enrollment periods for employee benefits.</p><p>• Act as the liaison for employees with questions related to benefits.</p><p>• Address and resolve employee inquiries concerning payroll matters.</p><p>• Assist in developing and implementing a purchase order and invoicing system for the HR department.</p><p>• Collaborate on various HR tasks and projects as assigned.</p><p>• Utilize systems such as UKG Pro for payroll and time management operations.</p><p>• Work within Google-based tools and platforms, leveraging familiarity with Net Sweeps is a plus.</p>
• At least 5 years of experience in processing bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union workforces.<br>• Proficiency in using UKG Pro or similar payroll systems.<br>• Solid understanding of benefits administration processes.<br>• Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent communication skills.<br>• Familiarity with Google-based tools and systems is advantageous.<br>• Knowledge of Net Sweeps systems is a plus.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines effectively.<br>• Background in human resources administration is highly desirable.
