We are looking for a dedicated Property Accountant to join our team in Creve Coeur, Missouri. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial operations for real estate properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position offers an opportunity to work with industry-leading tools like Yardi Software while contributing to the success of our organization.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Manage month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.<br>• Utilize Yardi Software to maintain and update property accounting records.<br>• Perform accrual accounting tasks to accurately reflect financial transactions.<br>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure proper financial reporting.<br>• Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to gather financial data and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for property operations.<br>• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies.<br>• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Proven experience in property accounting, preferably within the real estate industry.<br>• Proficiency in using Yardi Software for property management and accounting tasks.<br>• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Expertise in accrual accounting principles and practices.<br>• Solid understanding of general ledger maintenance and reconciliation.<br>• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
