Robert Half Management Resources has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager for its Finance and Accounting Team. This position is the lead support role for the division’s Controller. The Accounting Manager will also provide financial information and support to the local plant’s operations team and will participate in operational meetings and special projects. The Finance Manager will be expected to work with the business partners in operations in order to drive improved performance and results. Duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to the following: • Month end closing and related financial reporting for the division • Working with both the Division and Corporate Finance Teams to ensure all closing and reporting activities are completed within the required deadlines• Oversee accounting activity at Mexico operations including the reconciliation process of invoices from the production facility to the US company, as well as all currency translation activities• Oversee all accounting of foreign and domestic joint ventures for the division • Inventory management including balance reporting, reconciliations, shrink and obsolescence, and participation in the annual physical inventory process• Manage the process for the tracking and reporting of critical performance metrics to the plant operations team • Prepare account reconciliations for the division• Support all internal audits as well as the year end external audit with the CPA firm• Drive innovation by improving the reporting process as well as reinforcing best practices throughout the organization • Responsible for loading SAP financial results into the company’s consolidated reporting system • Analyze warranty accrual/expense account monthly and track valid product warranty activity. Adjust monthly as needed and submit for approval• Oversee completion and submission of various tax/state filings and information regarding insurance policies The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including management experience. ERP experience is required, preferably with SAP. International accounting experience with production facilities located in Mexico and China is preferred. CPA and or MBA preferred.
