We are looking for an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team in Columbia, South Carolina. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial statement preparation, bank reconciliations, and grant management. Responsibilities: • Perform detailed bank reconciliations across multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal and external reporting purposes. • Manage grant-related financial processes, including fund drawdowns and reporting. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions to maintain smooth operations. • Handle billing activities, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. • Utilize housing-related accounting software to streamline financial tasks and processes. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes. • Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies and improve workflow efficiency. • Provide support for special financial projects as needed. • Ensure adherence to regulations and organizational policies in all accounting activities.

• Proven experience in preparing financial statements and performing bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with grant management, including fund drawdowns and compliance reporting. • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing functions. • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices. • Experience with housing-related accounting software is highly desirable. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks. • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
