Office Assistant
<p>We are looking for a <strong>Spanish Bilingual</strong> Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Columbia Heights, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth communication with families and staff, and maintaining accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys interacting with diverse stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Track attendance, absences, and tardiness, and accurately input data into the student information system.</p><p>• Create a welcoming atmosphere for students, families, and visitors, ensuring excellent customer service.</p><p>• Facilitate effective communication with parents and staff, addressing inquiries and providing updates.</p><p>• Perform general clerical tasks such as preparing correspondence, organizing files, and managing mail.</p><p>• Assist families with the registration process, intent-to-return documentation, and engagement event details.</p><p>• Provide support to the enrollment team by answering questions from prospective families and assisting with enrollment events.</p><p>• Maintain consistent and punctual attendance to support office operations.</p><p>• Collaborate on special projects or tasks as assigned to meet organizational goals.</p><p>• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for attendance and enrollment processes.</p>
<p>• Spanish Bilingual</p><p>• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with families, staff, and stakeholders.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets is preferred.</p><p>• Knowledge of modern office practices, particularly in K-12 or public sector settings, is advantageous.</p><p>• Experience with attendance and enrollment procedures, including maintaining accurate records.</p><p>• Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively within a team environment.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service and maintain strong relationships.</p>
