We are seeking a seasoned Director of Accounting to lead the day-to-day operations of our client's Accounting Department. This role involves managing a team of accounting professionals and ensuring that financial processes and reporting are executed in compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification. • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant financial regulations. • Proven experience with month-end and year-end close processes. • Expertise in financial statement audits and reporting. • Familiarity with intercompany accounting and federal tax regulations. • Strong background in mergers and acquisitions accounting. • Ability to manage and develop a team of accounting staff. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
