HR Generalist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient HR Generalist to join our growing client's team in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will play a pivotal role in managing the onboarding process, recruitment efforts, employee training programs, and retention strategies to ensure business operations run smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys the challenge of building a strong, engaged team.</p><p><strong>Objectives of this Role</strong></p><ul><li><em>Onboarding Success:</em> Lead efforts to attract and onboard qualified hourly employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet weekly hiring goals through interviews, orientations, and training programs.</li><li>Develop initiatives to support employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction during their first 90 days and beyond.</li><li>Analyze metrics such as recruitment ROI and retention rates to streamline hiring systems and improve outcomes.</li><li>Administer programs related to benefits, compensation, and employee performance evaluations.</li><li>Remain compliant with all applicable regulations and legislation related to employment policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively seek and screen candidates to identify the most qualified applicants.</li><li>Coordinate new hire onboarding processes, ensuring integration with internal departments and management.</li><li>Maintain employee records in Payroll and Scheduling systems, ensuring compliance and accuracy.</li><li>Process payroll updates for hourly employees, manage incentive pay systems, and oversee benefits administration.</li><li>Conduct training sessions focused on skill development and employee progression.</li><li>Evaluate and revise HR policies to align with regulatory requirements and best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.</li><li>Detail-oriented and organized.</li><li>Outgoing and approachable disposition with strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and procedures.</li><li>Knowledge of HR regulations or willingness to acquire expertise in compliance and employment policies.</li><li>Recruitment and training experience preferred but not required.</li></ul><p><br></p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and approachable demeanor.<br>• Familiarity with HR systems, policies, and federal employment regulations.<br>• Proficiency in HRIS systems and a willingness to learn new technologies.<br>• Proven ability to train and onboard hourly workers effectively.<br>• Resourceful problem-solving skills and attention to detail.<br>• Experience in administering payroll and benefits processes.
