<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Systems Administrator</strong> to manage and maintain IT operations for a growing company within the <strong>healthcare support services industry</strong>. This role is critical to ensuring the organization’s IT systems are highly secure, reliable, and efficient to support day-to-day operations and compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset to a team responsible for maintaining essential systems in a highly regulated industry.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networks, to ensure consistent and secure operations for essential business processes.</li><li>Administer and optimize environments based on Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V, focusing on system efficiency and scalability.</li><li>Monitor system performance and promptly troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime while maintaining HIPAA-compliant security standards.</li><li>Implement and oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning to protect against data loss or system outages.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with new IT technologies and regulations affecting the healthcare support industry, ensuring systems remain compliant with regulatory frameworks.</li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement IT solutions that streamline workflows, improve patient data security, and enhance operational productivity.</li><li>Monitor and respond to potential cybersecurity threats, implement regular updates, and enforce data security protocols.</li><li>Maintain vendor relationships to manage software and hardware procurement, upgrades, and renewals.</li></ul><p><br></p>
