We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the daily operations of accounts payable processes for both onshore and offshore teams. This Contract position is based near Oak Brook, Illinois, and requires a skilled individual with a strong background in financial payable transactions, process improvements, and team leadership. Responsibilities:• Supervise and provide guidance to Accounts Payable teams, including onshore and offshore resources.• Drive initiatives to enhance digital transactions and payment processes with suppliers.• Develop and lead training programs to improve business user understanding of payable transaction procedures.• Act as the business system administrator for Accounts Payable transaction access and system functionality.• Monitor and maintain dashboards to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce exceptions and optimize Accounts Payable workflows.• Collaborate with IT to resolve technical issues, manage system maintenance, and oversee enhancements.• Conduct financial payable transaction system testing and ensure compliance with company policies.• Manage the accurate and timely reporting of 1099s.• Handle special projects and initiatives as assigned to support organizational goals.

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounts Payable management within a high-volume corporate environment. • Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Basware, and Concur systems is highly preferred. • Proven expertise in coding invoices and supervising Accounts Payable teams. • Strong knowledge of business process improvement methodologies. • Experience in a transit or similar industry is advantageous. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to manage complex financial processes. • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive system enhancements. • Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
