This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving tax practice by engaging in complex research, planning, and compliance matters. Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical, communication, and drafting skills to support our legal team and clients effectively.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research on federal, state, and international tax matters to support client strategies.</p><p>• Draft detailed memoranda, legal opinions, and correspondence tailored to client needs.</p><p>• Assist in tax planning for complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations.</p><p>• Evaluate tax returns, financial statements, and transactional documents to ensure compliance and identify opportunities.</p><p>• Collaborate with senior attorneys to advise clients on tax controversies and compliance challenges.</p><p>• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes to proactively address client interests.</p><p>• Participate in client meetings, preparing summaries and actionable insights.</p><p>• Advise on and review federal and state income tax compliance for a variety of entities, including individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.</p><p>• Coordinate with external professionals such as accountants and investment advisors to implement comprehensive planning solutions.</p><p>• Support audits, notices, and voluntary disclosures, managing related correspondence and negotiations effectively.</p>

<p>• A minimum of three years of experience in public accounting or legal tax practice.</p><p>• Active licensure as an attorney.</p><p>• Demonstrated expertise in estate planning and business transactions.</p><p>• Commitment to staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a direct-hire role that offers a competitive base salary and benefits.
