Accounting Clerk
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations by handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial transactions. Quickbooks experience is a must. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all invoices are properly recorded.</p><p>• Manage accounts receivable functions, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.</p><p>• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and documentation.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and update accounting data effectively.</p><p>• Assist in invoice processing by verifying information and ensuring timely submissions.</p><p>• Collaborate with the accounting team to address any financial queries or concerns.</p><p>• Maintain organized and up-to-date records for auditing purposes.</p><p>• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all tasks.</p><p>• Participate in identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows.</p>
• Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.<br>• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Familiarity with invoice processing and related financial procedures.<br>• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with a team.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.<br>• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.<br>• Strong communication skills for addressing financial inquiries.
