We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Cardiff by the Sea, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity ideal for someone with a passion for accuracy and organizational skills. In this role, you will support essential accounting functions, ensuring smooth operations and timely processing of financial tasks. Responsibilities: • Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding in alignment with company guidelines. • Prepare and execute check runs for timely payment of accounts payable. • Manage the distribution of checks, including mailing them to vendors as required. • Handle email correspondence to address inquiries and resolve payment-related issues. • Assist with coding invoices to the appropriate accounts and departments. • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation. • Support administrative office functions to ensure seamless operations. • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in accounting processes.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or clerical role. • Proficiency in accounts payable processes, including invoice handling and check runs. • Familiarity with invoice coding and proper account allocation. • Strong organizational and administrative skills. • Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently. • Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy in financial documentation. • Capable of working independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
