Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Bradenton, Florida. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will excel in managing garnishments, addressing payroll inquiries, and collaborating with various departments to maintain seamless payroll operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage wage garnishments, levies, and other mandatory deductions in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining proper documentation.<br>• Monitor compliance with payroll-related laws and regulations and prepare required reports for internal and external use.<br>• Address employee questions and concerns regarding payroll issues with professionalism and clarity.<br>• Work closely with HR and Finance teams to implement payroll adjustments, deductions, and updates as needed.<br>• Maintain accurate records of all garnishments and payroll activities for auditing and compliance purposes.<br>• Identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all processes.<br>• Utilize payroll systems, such as ADP Workforce Now or ADP Vantage, to manage payroll functions effectively.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive payroll information with confidentiality.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience managing wage garnishments and related payroll processes.<br>• Proficient in payroll systems, with preferred experience using ADP Workforce Now or ADP Vantage.<br>• Strong understanding of federal and state laws governing garnishments, payroll, and tax reporting.<br>• Skilled in full-cycle and multi-state payroll processing for organizations with 101-500 employees.<br>• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex payroll topics to employees clearly and empathetically.<br>• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.<br>• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
