<p>We are looking for a dedicated Attorney with expertise in Family Law to join our client's team in Boston, Massachusetts. This position involves handling complex legal matters, including litigation, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings. As a Long-term Contract role, it offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your experience in high-stakes cases while working in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Represent clients in Family Law cases, including divorce, custody, and probate matters.</p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other court documents.</p><p>• Manage discovery processes effectively, ensuring all relevant information is collected and analyzed.</p><p>• Negotiate settlements and draft agreements tailored to clients' needs.</p><p>• Advocate for clients in Probate and Family Court, including handling trials and motion hearings.</p><p>• Provide guidance on complex financial disputes and high-conflict custody cases.</p><p>• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and develop effective legal strategies.</p><p>• Address appellate matters related to Family Law and probate cases.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to maintain accurate legal documentation and correspondence.</p><p>• Stay updated on legal developments in Family Law and apply them to cases.</p>

• A Juris Doctorate degree and active license to practice law in Massachusetts.<br>• At least 3-5 years of experience in Family Law practice.<br>• Proficiency in legal writing, research, and analysis.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.<br>• Experience practicing before the Probate and Family Court, including trial and motion practice.<br>• Knowledge of divorce and custody law, including procedural and substantive aspects.<br>• Familiarity with litigation involving complex financial issues and high-conflict custody disputes.<br>• Preferred experience in appellate matters, estate administration, and litigation related to probate and trust matters.
