We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Blue Springs, Missouri. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Controller and Finance/Accounting department. This is a permanent position requiring expertise in accounting principles and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. This role is fully in office. Responsibilities:• Perform daily accounting tasks, including account reconciliations and ad hoc projects.• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with precision and efficiency.• Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration and accuracy of financial data.• Document and refine accounting procedures while implementing and testing internal controls.• Participate in audits, ensuring compliance with established internal controls and standards.• Support other members of the accounting team by providing assistance as needed.• Adapt to changing assignments and schedules to meet organizational needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting. • At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Proficient organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. • Willingness to work in an industrial setting and adapt to changing work conditions.
