We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Beaverton, Oregon. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations for multiple entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a keen ability to manage financial records with precision. Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end close processes across various entities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.• Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded.• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial documentation.• Reconcile accounts to identify discrepancies and maintain integrity in financial reporting.• Provide support to team members by serving as a backup for essential accounting functions.• Collaborate on corporate tax-related activities, including tax filings and compliance.• Handle sales tax calculations and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.• Utilize NetSuite to manage accounting processes and streamline workflow.

• Proven experience in corporate tax and sales tax preparation and compliance. • Expertise in preparing corporate tax returns and managing related documentation. • Solid understanding of journal entries and general ledger maintenance. • Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software. • Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Familiarity with month-end close procedures and account reconciliation. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
