<p>Kevin Wong with Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Director of Accounting on behalf of one of his well-respected clients.<strong> </strong>The Director of Accounting will lead the accounting function for a dynamic and growing organization. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving process improvements across all accounting operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership skills, capable of building and mentoring a high-performing team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.</li><li>Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.</li><li>Manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting processes.</li><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Kevin Wong with Robert Half to review this position. <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.</li><li>10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.</li><li>Deep knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements.</li><li>Proven ability to manage complex accounting operations in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li></ul>
