We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our client's team in Oregon on a long-term contract basis. This role is critical to ensuring seamless financial operations during a pivotal time for the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a high level of expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and healthcare experience. Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Prepare and review financial statements to align with organizational and statutory requirements.• Manage statutory reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.• Collaborate with teams to oversee expense reporting and budget management processes.• Lead audits and provide necessary documentation to support audit activities.• Serve as the primary point of contact for board reporting and deliver financial insights to stakeholders.• Supervise and guide team members in financial operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.• Utilize ERP system to streamline financial processes and maintain accurate records.• Support financial management initiatives and provide expert insights.• Act as the go-to financial leader, ensuring stability and continuity during leadership transitions.

• Proven experience as a Controller, with a strong track record in financial management.• Expertise in month-end close procedures and financial statement preparation.• Familiarity with Tier 1 ERP and proficiency in financial systems.• Solid understanding of statutory reporting requirements and compliance.• Previous experience in health plan financial operations is highly desirable.• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and collaborate effectively.• Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.• Excellent communication skills to present financial information to stakeholders.
