Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this long-term contract position, you will provide critical administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of daily office activities. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Respond to inquiries from City agencies, offering guidance on departmental procedures and services.</p><p>• Address and resolve service-related issues or complaints to maintain positive relationships.</p><p>• Create and manage documents using Microsoft Word and Excel, while maintaining organized file systems.</p><p>• Operate office equipment, including printers, copiers, and shredders, to support daily functions.</p><p>• Conduct research and collect data, preparing reports and summaries for management review.</p><p>• Maintain accurate records, reports, and statistical data for departmental use.</p><p>• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely sorting and distribution.</p><p>• Oversee departmental supplies and inventories, including tracking orders and replenishments.</p><p>• File and organize documents while refining and updating filing procedures as needed.</p><p>• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the department.</p>
• High school diploma or equivalent education.<br>• Basic understanding of office equipment and its operations.<br>• Familiarity with office management procedures and practices.<br>• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.<br>• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
