Office Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager to join our team in Amherst, New York, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will oversee essential administrative and accounting functions while delivering exceptional service to guests and students. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the success of the organization by ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Access and review student records, including account lookups and printing identification cards.<br>• Manage student billing and maintain accurate records related to financial transactions.<br>• Perform basic accounting tasks, such as reconciling balances between reports and student accounts.<br>• Provide front-line guest service by addressing inquiries about meal plans and resolving issues.<br>• Oversee the procurement and maintenance of office supplies to ensure availability.<br>• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Handle receptionist duties, including answering calls and managing correspondence.<br>• Assist with accounting entries and support broader accounting functions as needed.
• Proven experience in administrative office management and operations.<br>• Ability to maintain and order office supplies efficiently.<br>• Familiarity with accounts payable processes and best practices.<br>• Strong customer service skills, with experience handling guest or client interactions.<br>• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with financial reconciliations.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounting entries and supporting related functions.<br>• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.<br>• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
