Incentive Compensation Analyst
We are looking for a highly analytical Incentive Compensation Analyst to oversee and optimize incentive pay structures for our customer-facing teams. In this long-term contract role, you will play a crucial part in designing and managing compensation programs that align with organizational goals and drive performance. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the success of sales, customer success, and alliance teams.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and execute accurate and timely payouts of incentive compensation to eligible employees.<br>• Conduct detailed analyses of internal pay structures and external market trends to ensure competitiveness and fairness.<br>• Develop and implement policies and procedures for incentive compensation, ensuring compliance with legal standards and industry best practices.<br>• Maintain and organize compensation-related data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while leveraging analytical tools to extract actionable insights.<br>• Assist in planning and administering periodic and annual incentive compensation programs, aligning them with budgetary and strategic priorities.<br>• Collaborate with HR and Legal teams to ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local compensation regulations.<br>• Provide training and guidance to managers and employees to promote understanding and transparency around compensation practices.<br>• Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize sales compensation tools and processes for maximum efficiency.<br>• Analyze and report on the performance of incentive programs, offering recommendations for improvement.<br>• Support organizational goals by aligning employee incentives with business strategies.
• 2-5 years of experience in incentive compensation analysis or a related HR role.<br>• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with HR systems such as Workday or similar.<br>• Experience with sales compensation tools, particularly Varicent, is highly desirable.<br>• Strong knowledge of incentive compensation laws and industry best practices.<br>• Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.<br>• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.<br>• Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with diverse teams.<br>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
