We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Worthington, Ohio. In this role, you will manage a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations. This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with CPAs and contribute to both client and internal financial operations. Responsibilities: • Handle bookkeeping tasks for clients and internal company needs, ensuring accurate financial records. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including timely invoicing and payments. • Process payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Perform monthly reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. • Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing necessary journal entries. • Prepare journal entries to maintain the integrity of the general ledger. • Collaborate with CPAs to assist in tax preparation and filing processes. • Ensure compliance with corporate tax and sales tax requirements. • Utilize accounting software such as Sage 50 to streamline financial operations.

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filing. • Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and compliance. • Proficiency in preparing corporate tax returns and reconciling accounts. • Expertise in creating and posting journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Solid understanding of general ledger accounting principles. • Hands-on experience with Sage 50 accounting software. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
