Bookkeeper
<p>We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Edmonds, Washington. This is a Contract position requiring strong organizational skills and expertise in managing financial records to support a busy office environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company's financial health through accurate bookkeeping and reporting.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.</p><p>• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries to keep financial records organized.</p><p>• Prepare quarterly reports and financial statements to support business operations.</p><p>• Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.</p><p>• Organize and consolidate scattered financial files to create a streamlined system.</p><p>• Assist in transitioning financial data into QuickBooks or other selected accounting software.</p><p>• Monitor auto-payment systems for condos, offices, and residential properties.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with business and occupation tax requirements.</p><p>• Collaborate with management to provide insights and updates on financial performance.</p><p>• Maintain professionalism in a construction-oriented office environment.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with other accounting software.<br>• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.<br>• Ability to prepare financial statements and quarterly reports accurately.<br>• Excellent organizational skills to manage and consolidate scattered files.<br>• Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure compliance and accuracy.<br>• Effective communication skills to coordinate with the team and management.
