Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Waipahu, Hawaii. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while providing administrative support to ensure smooth office operations. This position requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a proactive approach to managing tasks efficiently. Preference will be given to applicants currently residing in Hawaii due to the nature of the job requirements. If interested in this role, please call us at 808-531-0800. </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Greet and assist visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel or department.</p><p>• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, ensuring calls are handled effectively and directed appropriately.</p><p>• Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accurate and organized records.</p><p>• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and shredding documents.</p><p>• Support daily office operations, including scheduling and preparing meeting spaces.</p><p>• Assist with basic accounting tasks and maintain financial records as needed.</p><p>• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.</p><p>• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance the image of the company.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.</p><p>• Follow business casual dress code, with jeans permitted on Fridays.</p>
• Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative role is required.<br>• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and basic functions.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.<br>• Ability to manage a multi-line phone system and handle inbound calls efficiently.<br>• Familiarity with office equipment, including copiers, scanners, and shredders.<br>• Basic knowledge of accounting principles or experience with accounting tasks is a plus.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records.<br>• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
