<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented part time Logistics Clerk to join our team in Van Nuys, California, on a contract basis. In this role, you will handle key shipping and receiving functions while ensuring smooth logistics operations. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in logistics/shipping and receiving and a commitment to maintaining efficiency and accuracy.</p><p><br></p><p>Part time schedule: Monday-Friday 10am-2pm </p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation.</p><p>• Monitor inventory levels and update records to maintain accuracy.</p><p>• Prepare and process shipping labels, invoices, and related documents.</p><p>• Collaborate with vendors and carriers to resolve any shipping discrepancies.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.</p><p>• Track shipments and provide updates to relevant departments.</p><p>• Maintain organized records of all logistics transactions.</p><p>• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize operations.</p><p>• Perform routine checks to ensure the security and condition of inventory.</p><p>• Provide support to other team members as needed to meet operational goals.</p>

<p>• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, shipping, or receiving roles.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of shipping functions and logistics industry practices.</p><p>• Proficiency in managing documentation and inventory tracking systems.</p><p>• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and team members.</p><p>• Keen attention to detail and organizational skills.</p><p>• Familiarity with personal security procedures related to inventory protection.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>• Commitment to maintaining accurate and efficient processes.</p>
