This role is pivotal in supporting the Accounting Manager and ensuring the accuracy of financial operations, particularly in intercompany transactions and month-end closings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment where process improvement and proactive problem-solving are valued.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage and reconcile intercompany accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting across entities.</p><p>• Assist the Accounting Manager with day-to-day operations, acting as a reliable point of support.</p><p>• Lead the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.</p><p>• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to streamline workflows.</p><p>• Collaborate with the team during system implementation projects, ensuring smooth transitions and data integrity.</p><p>• Prepare and analyze financial statements, offering insights to support strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.</p><p>• Work closely with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve interdepartmental communication.</p><p>• Contribute to the development and documentation of accounting policies and procedures.</p><p>• Provide support in audits and other financial reviews as needed.</p><p><br></p><p>Please reach out to Jamie Benway with Robert Half to review this position. • Proven experience handling intercompany accounts and eliminations.<br>• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively and support leadership, such as an Accounting Manager.<br>• Experience in manufacturing accounting is preferred but not mandatory.<br>• Familiarity with accounting software systems, with adaptability to learn new platforms.<br>• Proactive mindset with a willingness to identify and implement process improvements.<br>• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.
