HR Specialist
We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Troy, Michigan. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of HR functions, including onboarding, payroll coordination, and maintaining compliance with company policies. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and excels in streamlining HR processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Coordinate and manage the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.<br>• Assist with light recruitment tasks, such as posting job openings, screening applicants, and arranging interviews.<br>• Support the implementation and integration of new HR software to enhance departmental efficiency.<br>• Provide basic IT assistance, including setting up devices for new hires and enabling remote access for employees working off-site.<br>• Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.<br>• Maintain and organize HR records to comply with company policies and regulatory standards.<br>• Utilize expertise to make informed HR decisions that align with the company’s objectives.
• Previous experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of HR practices and processes.<br>• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.<br>• Familiarity with implementing and using HR software systems.<br>• Basic proficiency in IT tasks such as device setup and troubleshooting remote access issues.<br>• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with team members and candidates.<br>• Experience coordinating payroll, particularly with third-party providers like Paycorp.<br>• Ability to make sound, strategic HR decisions that benefit the organization.
