Office Manager
We are looking for a detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office in Torrance, California. This Contract position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. If you excel at maintaining office systems, managing supplies, and handling financial processes, this role is for you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise daily administrative activities to maintain an organized and efficient office environment.<br>• Manage the procurement and inventory of office supplies, ensuring availability at all times.<br>• Oversee accounts payable processes, including timely and accurate payment management.<br>• Perform receptionist duties, such as greeting visitors and managing phone calls.<br>• Coordinate and support office staff to ensure seamless workflow and communication.<br>• Implement and monitor office policies and procedures to maintain operational standards.<br>• Handle documentation and record-keeping to ensure compliance and accessibility.<br>• Address any office-related issues promptly, providing solutions to maintain productivity.<br>• Assist in scheduling meetings and managing calendars for key personnel.<br>• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of office needs.
• Proven experience in office management or administrative roles.<br>• Proficiency in managing accounts payable processes and financial documentation.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<br>• Familiarity with ordering and maintaining office supplies.<br>• Ability to perform receptionist duties professionally and courteously.<br>• Knowledge of office policies, procedures, and compliance standards.<br>• Proficiency in office software and tools, including word processing and spreadsheets.
